I went to this bar last night. Ang ingay, pero sakto lang ,chill vibe. I was just sitting there with a beer when I saw this girl, same age as me. Cute, classy, parang approachable. So I thought, sige na nga, try lang.
I went over, started some small talk about the music being too loud. She laughed , and i htought so far so good. We talked for maybe an hour, just random stuff: work, hobbies, kung bakit nandun kami that night. She was cool, man, like I actually enjoyed it.
So later, medyo tipsy na, I asked, ‘Hey… gusto mo bang lumabas pa after this? Maybe, my place?’
She smiled but you know that polite smile? Sabi niya, ‘You’re nice… but no.’
Ayun, game over. I just laughed, raised my glass, told her, ‘Fair enough. Cheers.’
Umuwi ako mag-isa, pero okay lang. At least I tried, diba? Mas okay na yun kaysa nag overthink buong gabi.”
