I think the server load from the reacts is a side effect of spam posts. Magpopost ng 1 pic lang or a vid from an existing set, or split up a set into separate posts. Not sure how the spam can be minimized though.

I haven't read the other replies sa thread na to but for me if meron man jan nagwoworry pano magwork ang trophy points pag walang reaction pwede naman palitan ang reaction by ilang views meron ang thread. More views mas marami interaction and kung gusto niyo man iwasan mga looters set niyo nalang threads niyo by post count, trophy points etc.

If mababago yung way to gain trophy points or yung process to view contents based on trophy points, I think ok ito. Ngl my only reason noong una kaya ako nagpopost is to view contents locked out by certain number of trophy points.

I agree to remove but how about comments? I think dagdag load din sa Server and mas malaki kesa sa reacts, specially ang daming nagcomment "wards" or uncertain comments "asahwga".

Suggestion:

• Retain hide react for exclusivity ng contributors.
• React button is privileged, para sa mga accounts na nareach yung certain level or age ng account (like kung 1 year old na)
• Regulate comment section. ilagay nalang sa discussion section or any threads na meron "question or help" remove nalang sa mga images and video post.
• A free section for new accounts. Dun may posting ng free contents na widely spread naman na or old contents. Since nakalimit lang sa user level yung react and comments. May makikita pa din sila contents.
• Additionally, delete contents na super old na dito sa server.

What ever the decision is fine. I hope this helps to decide.

Hahaha, akala ko nga din kasi puro rekta din ako.

Matagal ng may spamming post o spam video, may pang delete naman din ang forum at may benefits yan sa forum ads, may limit na din ang pag gawa ng thread kaya di mabigat sa server yan, meron din DMs na iisa para sa lahat ng puro hati hati ang video na members kung baga minention sila duon sa violation.

Siguro mas ok kung yung hide react is available na lang sa certain users, kung may "THREAD POSTS" of (insert number requirement) or something to do with points or trophys, hindi lang yung posts including yung mga comments yung iba din nag s-spam ng comments maka post points lang this way at least ma-fe-feel pa rin ng mga OG members at ng mga goods users na quality ang posts na meron silang perks na wala sa mga leechers and spoon feeders na ang tagal na sa forum di pa rin alam yung basic how to and di nagbabasa ng rules.

Add ko lang siguro if pwede like posting a thread have a cooldown bakit hindi din natin lagyan yung pag-react ng mas reasonable na cooldown like 2-3mins tingin ko yung ibang pc users dito mag oopen ng sandamakmak na tabs tapos sabay sabay rereactan (ngl ginawa ko nung bago ako), para yung mga react lang ng react pipili din ng quality post na pagrereactan nila hahaha (maybe based sa user rank most likely good post lang ginagawa, or maybe sa thumbnail or out of curiosity lang) , yun lang naisip ko lang baka pwede ganito.

Personally, I like seeing the numbers go up. Server issues aside, I think it's gonna be in a weird position where some posts would barely get any reacts despite having good stuff in it due to the nature of the users here. I highly doubt any of my posts would get the same amount of reacts if the change does come through. I'd probably lock future posts for comments I guess? idk a more efficient way to farm points other than getting reacts.

I think they would need to change rules in how to farm points, and they will check what is more heavy in terms of load; if its comment or react. The other forum uses the former but it would be hard to regulate spam posts.

Its a reward system, baka tamarin na magpost kung wala naman mapapala, saka malalaman kung sino ang contributors at yung walang ambag, pwede naman alisin ung reaction pag nakita nila na walang kwenta yung postm
