What's new

Closed Uncensored face (part two)

The concept of time has always fascinated me. It’s something so fluid yet so rigid, something we try to measure, yet can never fully grasp. Imagine a day in the distant past—perhaps thousands of years ago—when humans first started recording time in some form, whether through the phases of the moon, the rising and setting of the sun, or the counting of seasons. Back then, time must have felt a lot different. There were no clocks, no schedules, no deadlines—just the endless cycle of nature, pushing forward, and each day blending into the next in a rhythm as old as the earth itself.

Fast forward to today, and we live in a world where time is both our greatest asset and our biggest stressor. With the click of a button, we can access anything, at any moment. We have instant gratification, and yet, paradoxically, time feels more compressed. We find ourselves rushing, constantly trying to "keep up." We schedule everything, from moments of leisure to moments of productivity. There’s even a term for the feeling of not having enough time—time poverty.

But the deeper we go into this technological age, the more we might find ourselves longing for that simplicity, that rhythm of days flowing without constant interruption. It makes you wonder: are we using time wisely, or are we letting it slip by in the pursuit of efficiency?
